Hi there! We’re a husband and wife team living our dream in the beautiful countryside of Louisiana. Five years ago, we decided to trade the hustle and bustle of the city for a quieter, healthier lifestyle. Now, we proudly own a farm where we raise chickens, goats, and pigs Our goal?
To provide a natural and healthy way of feeding our family. When we first bought our land, we couldn’t wait to get some animals. Our search led us to Facebook groups, but we quickly ran into a big problem—scammers! It was hard to find what we needed and even harder to trust the sellers .
Realizing we weren't the only ones facing this issue, we decided to do something about it. As software developers, we combined our skills to create a classifieds website for our community. And that’s how EggsNearby.com was born!
We started by focusing on egg sales in Louisiana. But soon, our friends from other states encouraged us to open the platform to all U.S. farmers and expand beyond just eggs. Now, farmers can list any farm-related product or service.
Our Mission
We’re on a mission to build a community of genuine local farmers and consumers. We want to provide a platform where farmers can advertise their products and animals without the hassle and scams found on other platforms. Our aim is to make it easier for local customers to find what they need and connect with trustworthy sellers. We believe in supporting local growers and breeders and promoting the consumption of natural, healthy food.
